HOW IT WORKS
It's really easy to use the CD and follow along with your Map and Guide. Here's a brief tutorial.
|
Your Seward Highway adventure begins in Anchorage! The red circles with numbers show where each of the 18 tracks start. Listen to Track 1 before you leave Anchorage as it gives you a brief orientation to your drive. |

Each of the 18 tracks is matched to a highway mile marker. As you drive south, the mile markers are on the left side of the highway. This mile marker is located next to Potter Marsh, just south of Anchorage. |

Use the map's orange icons to find things to do & see. In Girdwood you'll find gas, the Mt. Alyeska Tram, dining, hiking, gold panning at Crow Creek Mine, and the Chugach National Forest Information Center. |

In addition the Map and Guide, the CD Package also includes photo highlights. Sea Otter, like these, live in Prince William Sound and Resurrection Bay. If you take a wildlife and glacier viewing cruise, you'll likely see them floating on their backs. Photo: © Chugach National Forest |
